being completely fair to superman, aquaman edged out most of DC by virtue of the chinese market -- which we know for a fact pays out multiples less than domestic. i think despite the worldwide total being more than 300m over wonder woman, aquaman was reported as only earning wb around 20m or so more, though i forget the specific figures. they're never catching that lightning in a bottle again. i hope superman's subpar performance doesn't make them scramble again.
