I left the silver parts the color they were since I really like gloss injection silver accent. I also added some silver to go along with it on the pistons and tanks. I think the blue works because it compliments every color but the red, and it clashes with the red in a really good way.

I'm glad you see what I was thinking now. It's loosely based on the original art of the sazabi since it had a bluish frame. The 2000 master grade also has a blue frame.
Shame I blew through half a jar of the metallic blue on this. I'm out of it so now the guns are gonna have to be a different color. I'm thinking of using some mystery metal I made by dumping leftovers of every metallic color I mixed into one bottle.
That or plain black to go with the shield.
