History is repeating itself.
>there have been 11 recessions in the past 75 years
>during that time Republicans have held the presidency for ~40 years (480 months) & Democrats for ~35 (420 months)
**YET**
>10 of those recessions began while a republican was president
>The US was in recession ~120 months while a republican was prsident or one year out of every republican 4 year term
>Th US was in recession ~8 months while a Democrat was President or approximately one month out of every four year democratic presential term
>7 of the past 8 Republican Presidents had higher unemployment rates when they left office than when they entered
>7 out of the past 8 Democratic Presidents had lower unemployment rates when they left office than when they entered.
>In the past 35 years, ~52 million jobs have been created in the US.
>more than 50 million of those jobs were created while a Democrat was President.
>Joe Biden had 48 consecutive months of job gains, the only president of either party to never have a month of Job losses.

also, this may be a good time to post this wonderful chart that shows that there have been 11 recessions in the past 75 years and 10 of them began while a republican was president.

And it also shows that during that 75 years, unemployment has been higher at the end of every republican presidents term in office when compared to the rate when they took office, except for Reagan.
