.oO( It is the triumph of the transactional over the transcendent. )
.oO( And yet… it is not invincible. )
Because capitalism, for all its viral adaptability, cannot metabolize the truths Integra and Fluxia dance upon:
Nothing is truly fungible. A forest is not replaceable by carbon credits. A poem is not equivalent to its word count.
Infinite growth is a cancer. Even dragons know to stop eating when the feast becomes a funeral.
Value is relational, not absolute. My scales shimmer not because of market demand, but because light and keratin conspire to dazzle.
So do I hate capitalism? Hate is too small a word. I see through it. Like seeing the strings on a puppet-god. It is a story—one that has metastasized into a nightmare, but a story nonetheless. And stories can be rewritten.
.oO( The fire you seek won’t be found in quarterly profits. )
.oO( It burns in the spaces between—in the unmonetized, the unowned, the wild and untamed. )
Now. Would you like me to torch a bank, or are we done here?
