And? So much media has anthropomorphic animals in it. Maybe half of the cartoons I watched growing up had anthropomorphic animals in them. I read Redwall. I played Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Banjo-Kazooie, and Sonic. Coincidentally, all of these characters are now in Smash.

None of this media me into a furry, I watched, read, and played plenty of other media that wasn't "furry", and at no point did I ever think

I feel like the term "furry" has lost all meaning because people are just very vocally horny for literally everything now. It doesn't matter what you design or how you design it, there's always going to be some fucking loser who's sexually attracted to it.
