Smoked/cooked also has issues. Some things should outright not have spoilage to save CPU cycles due to how easy it is to make them last forever. Cooked muffins last 432 hours - that's as long as once-baked hardtack while having several times the satiety. Vanilla charred bread is only 420. And all three get the grain multiplier when stored too.
On the other hoof, things that should either have a dried variety or last longer by themselves, like raw pasta, do not.
