we ask if he abandoned Nuwa and we start to leave he recalls genuinely wanting to protect her but never could put his words together back then but then he pleads asking us not to leave him alone. We fight then start to summon Lil' sal but Fuxi stops us and HE LEAVES TOKYO while realizing he looked down on Nuwa and apologizes and sees the 24th in us and says they are a blessing. Meph tell Tane their orb will be the key to Tokyo's contradiction, the years Smoky waited was referring to the number of LOOPS?! Leann stops Sanat from taking Aki as he's not the Sanat she knows. And that's it nothing else was shown at the end...yep nothing at all... Anyway this ch. had me suspicious of every new character the slow burn with everything happening around us elsewhere really worked on me. And why did Fuxi have to leave it felt like he had less presence than Shiva and I was expecting Fuxi and Shennong to interact! It felt like a bit of missed potential and we seemingly didn't make a pact with him. But as for my theory might as well say it since this Ch. seemingly confirms it in my opinion
My theory was this is a simulation, a game within a game within a game, basically this entire thing is purely fiction even in game context. Since ch9 about light being data memories are data/light. Transients being made of light mentioned in Ch3. Tindalos corrupting this worlds data Nodens hacking the game. Aza mentioning the room he was in during Nightglows was called a debug room. Curren calling Mono and herself terminals Smoky mentioning the start of the game where we choose our preferences Fuxi and Cato talking to us the player. I will say Fuxi's talk to us was actually sweet. I even thought back in Ch6 when Alice slipped up and said 24 souls instead of 23 I did think she might be referring to us the player. And if it's actually 100% a game in a game pure fiction situation then like Fuxi I can't find the words express how I feel about that
