Bovine spongiform encephalopathy!

Better known as Mad Cow Disease, this abnormality caused by cattle eating contaminated meat results in a deterioration of the brain that exposes itself through such behaviors as psychomotor retardation, weight loss, and aggressive behavior. The life expectancy of a cow with BSE is around 4 to 5 months.

Q: Can BSE affect humans?
A: Yes! The same Prions that trigger BSE can trigger what's called Variant Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease. The symptoms are eerily similar, although behavioral changes may be more volatile, as vCJD usually comes with hallucinations & dementia.
