>first silly game
basic top down shooter/slasher/dasher with very basic shapes as graphics. slow turning with plenty momentum and neat synergy across moves. The one reason im gonna put so much effort into that is because i plan to weaponize it for my undergraduate thesis in compsci about using neural networks for videogame AI (this has a 90% chance to turn out the biggest snake oil meme in existence but it gets my degree)
>if i need more silly games worth of learning before moving into a real project
fuck i dont know. ill probably try a sidescroller or some extremely basic 3D

>first commercial game
isometric action game where the MC is a melee-ranged hybrid (think of Furi or HLD or something). straightforward campaign with a bunch of extras and bonus levels
cheap-but-not-so-cheap 3D graphics (decentish 3D graphics for isometric games are actually much cheaper than actual high quality pixel art btw)
>second commercial game
basically just indie armored core ft. space battles and one devilish touch that assures decillions of sales
