one thought experiment i like to do is to imagine that this 3D realm is a kind of obstacle course or school for souls who agree to incarnate here, whose goal it is to develop and overcome challenges in order to grow. in doing so, and especially by acting in a way that increases the sum total of good in the world (or decreases the influence of evil in the world, working against entropy), I wonder if we can kind of "level up" by performing a service to God/Creator/the Life principle
