Mid terms won't matter if SCOTUS keeps ruling in Trumps favor. Hell, the based black woman judge signed the court order saying Trump didn't have to fund SNAP. Even with a blue wave, any legislation the democrats do to undo Trumps policies, that SCOTUS said he could do, will likely be struck down since they JUST said it was okay to do them. This is exactly why the Dems wanted to pack the courts when Biden was in office. While the dems controlled the senate Biden would appoint a bunch of liberal justices that were guaranteed approval. Then the left would have control over the Judicial branch for decades.

And this is why any talk of California secession is tripe. Democrats cannot survive on the national stage without California bringing in over 50 House seats and over 50 electoral votes. They will never allow their golden goose to leave.
