btw I know Emery is generally well respected, but did he mess up on the Watkins-Duran situation last season? Duran was tearing it up while Watkins was playing mid at best. 20 yo Duran demanded to become the starter over the much older 28 yo Watkins. Emery stuck with Watkins andsold Duran. Watkins has continued to play mid to shit ever since, had his head turned by Arse at xmas, and wants to leave. Should Emery have chosen Duran instead?
