Yeah it has great animation and a fantastic art style and some crude oddball humor and a lot of cultural references and lots of fan service and cultural significange and this and that, but it'd all mean nothing if the series wasn't crafted with so much love and reverence. There's TONS of series that have crude humor, good animation, and cultural references, or at least crude humor and cultural references, but often times they've got this hostile, hateful attitude about them or a ton of melodrama that makes them feel fake. Not this show
