If you're ONLY going for better performance, it would wait a little longer. We haven't had any updates since the launch and we'll likely have to wait longer till further news. My rule for buying a console is that if you can name 3 to 5 must-have titles, then buying it makes sense. The Switch 2 was my exception since my old Switch reached the further beyond.
