it's definitely a lockdown thing though not exclusively so. our biggest provinces had restrictions on social activity and schools for 2 entire years, I'm not sure how many other countries were so deranged. just masks alone were totally dehumanizing and made it more difficult to socialize and learn. test scores were impacted, kids are having trouble learning to read and write and form relationships in much higher rates in the last 4 years. obviously gen A is impacted as well.
