It's a double-edged sword. In one way, we do get a boost of preparation for what skills and tactics we need. But in another way, it's consistently led to the youtubers creating an expectation of what the meta will be. And every cup, people have specifically killed that meta. Because the good players hears about it and focuses on countering it.
I like it because I'm one of those who are using this knowledge to sabotage the meta and win. But it's also getting really frustrating for a lot of other people who keep going for the meta, as you're seeing in threads. That being said, a lot of people are also losing because the fall for the blue spark trap or don't know how parents work. But those people would lose even if they tried to go for the meta picks.
