Haven't played many gachas but the lore in genshin beats most other "normal" games i've tried across the years.
Sadly it's delivered in hidden ways in archives instead of up front in quests, since the average braindead player would rather hear a funny joke about Paimon being hungry than hear what happened to a lost civilization from thousands of years ago and how their soul still haunts the land.
