Tell me why I should be hyped over a non VR game
Episode 1 & 2 were ok, I played them, but it was basically more Half Life 2, which while impressive technically at the time isn't a very fun game. We have plenty of games will state of the art graphics and facial animation now and it's hitting diminishing returns for 10 years. Physics? Physics mattered very little in half life 2 other than see-saw puzzles. You didn't need a physics engine to cut zombies in half it just looks nicer. Development of half life 3 has died over and over because even valve knows this isn't worth your time. There has to be something genuinely new or groundbreaking about half life 3 or it's just like any other sequel release to me. Why do people hype it like valve is going to send a $60 virgin prostitute to your house.
