Not at all. Most people you met here back in the day were weird and awkward, but incel rhetoric had not even begun to touch where it is now and was entirely limited to /r9k/ or shunned to go back there. The modern day trad shit, Christianity, and general conservative shift of this board (and 4chan as a whole) has left this place full of angry incels and scared the women away. The lack of moderation has made it impossible to fix any issue that's here, too.

I'll also say that most people's attention spans are now shot compared to then, too. The TikTok brainrot has destroyed a lot of people's ability to have a real conversation. I can't even talk to zoomers because they think I'm at at them because I type in full sentences. And a lot of them just collect friends and hop from conversation to conversation to whoever will give them that serotonin boost immediately.
