Not at all. Most people you met here back in the day were weird and awkward, but incel rhetoric had not even begun to touch where it is now and was entirely limited to /r9k/ or shunned to go back there. I'll also say that most people's attention spans are now shot compared to then, too. The TikTok brainrot has destroyed a lot of people's ability to have a real conversation.
