I found her full name and address, as well as several license numbers for her profession in a document published on the internal commission for (something). This allowed me to discover a bit more, such as her name change (which made stalking difficult), as well as some publicly disclosed court cases she was involved in, including one where I learned her husband had died in 2022 since I last saw her ten years ago, and another where she was being stalked by an unrelated person. Hmm... Worse for her are her coworkers, who tend to tag her name in work photos. Such a nightmare.

I don't derive any sick pleasure from this. I don't want to meet her. I don't love or hate her. I don't feel an obsession over it either, I go years maybe remembering her briefly for a few minutes every month or two. It just fills me with parasocial enjoyment to see the faces I once saw and and keep track of what they are doing. I sometimes stalk men and women, for no reason other than curiosity and that parasocial feeling.

I have also stalked some posters from 4chan, usually only until I feel as though I've "cracked" the case. That is the point where I feel like I've discovered their continuous self-identity, real identity, or my temporary fantasizing has ended. It's usually only for a week at a time. Again, no real obsession, just a curious hobby.
