rodrgo saar is not leaving vardrid, so just get rogers from villel.
sesko seems to be much more advanced than gyokeres.
i doubt partey is gonna be the starter for the majority of the season, relying on him is not smart, thats why zubi will be starting and rotating with partey.

there's also a good chance we miss on all of these targets because stan kronke wants to keep his shekelsteins for another walmart in bumfucknowhere.

Sporting president Frederico Varandas comments on the news circulating about Gyokeres' anger over the club's demand for a large sum of money to sell him, contrary to what was agreed upon.

"I guarantee you that Victor Gyokeres will not leave for €60 million plus €10 million in add-ons, because I didn't promise him that. This game his agent is playing is making the situation worse."

"We agreed that Sporting would not ask for his €100 million release clause this summer, for one reason: he's 27. No 27-year-old leaves Portugal for €90 or €100 million."

According to
@cnnportugal
..

Victor Gyokeres' agent is currently in meeting with Arsenal.

I think Sesko deal looks safe, though I'd prefer Gyökeres, but an elite winger and midfielder are needed. Partly might stay but he's too injury prone.

If partey leaves and they have some decent sales numbers of guys like Viera and lokonga (no one is buying Nelson on his wages) then apparently they're chasing hato from Ajax. Big strong LB who can also play CB so that's why Liverpool would also love him so he could slot in next to van dijk. MLS back to midfield

Doubtful though. Striker and lw are too important to waste time on him early. They'll sign some random backup cb to saliba who is ok with like 5-10 matches a season.

Arsenal are preparing their second bid for gyokeres, improving the fixed value to exceed €70 million in total.

Sporting's management is ready for a new round of negotiations, thanks to the good relationship between the two clubs. The player's representatives are optimistic about a positive outcome.

no worries lads, the club is working hard on signing a striker, too bad all the other clubs want wads of cash.
>Arsenal are currently unwilling to meet RB Leipzig's transfer demands for Benjamin Sesko.
>The Bundesliga side value the player at somewhere between £68m and £85m (€80m and €100m).
>Arsenal and Sesko's camp remain in contact but personal terms have not been agreed.
>The Gunners are still monitoring Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres but a deal could well hinge on whether his side will demand more than the verbally agreed figure of between £51m and £60m (€60m and €70m) for the player.

nah, the Arteta out movement got a foot in the door after another season without any silverware, sure the ‚injuries‘ excuses were the first to hit but deep down people realize that to some extent it’s Arteta’s fault. Lots of people still sitting on the fence and already got squeamish because everyone is rightfully doing their transfer business early while Arsenal are twiddling their thumbs. An underwhelming summer window paired with 7 very hard opening fixtures will easily be enough to upset the fan base to the point of boiling over.

You're too optimistic. If the transfer window flops it'll be blamed on Berta or excused as "well, he just got here". And again, the fanbase and owners are too cucked to make changes after seven games. >We would have to be bottom half of the table before anything drastic was contemplated. arlos Cuesta confirms Arsenal exit as he’s joining Parma: “After five beautiful years it’s hard to put this into words, but I can only express how grateful I am for having lived my day-to-day with such special people and feel what it means to represent this football club, with its incredible history and values.

The only thing I’ve ever tried to do was give everything I had inside of me every single day. I was inspired by the culture that was created, by the hunger of every person of the organisation and by the unity that we had in any situation that we had to face. It has been a privilege to have had the chance to work with the players, staff, directors and all the employees of the club and at the same time, to receive an extra push from our amazing fans in every match.

Because of the quality of its people, I’m convinced that the best moments for this football club are still yet to come. Enjoy the journey, because it is a very exciting one.

Thank you”.

that opening match at old trafford could just as easily be 5-0 to us as it could be a hard fought loss.
otherwise i think it's fairly obvious that they're aiming to demoralise us before we have a chance to mount a challenge but "everyone gets hard starts sometimes" yeah right. look at city's. us away is hard bother otherwise united and spurs at the etihad and 3 dogshit minnows are their opening 6.
reckon we'll come out of it alright if we don't completely fuck up the transfer window. maybe 5-7 dropped points. but if we sign zubimendi and and a left back then i'd expect that opening run to be the start of a banter season.

Partey leaving is a net positive. Another sharteta mediocrity. Tells me the club are willing to part with any sharteta deadwood that's ready to leave willingly. Choosing to keep him after the grape debacle even though he was unavailable for two whole seasons is absolutely another sharteta brainshart, and the club would've obviously accepted it begrudgingly at best. Patience has worn thin now and partery has done fuck all to warrant a raise (at 33!) anyway. Ideally, Zyinchyynkyiv and Jesus should have been cut loose too.

i get that they probably won't sign a replacement now but, ultimately if the next gaffer gets to make that choice it's a positive.

aaaaaaaaaaaah, how the fuck is the club actually managing to fuck up on all transfer fronts ? Baffling, >we might end up with an actually worse squad than before.
Minimum for this window to be a success always was a striker - LW - midfielder signing. >We presumably got Zubi but the other two are looking increasing unlikely, especially the LW position.
Not to mention that >we actually need a RW backup, proper Ode competition because if he is shitting up the midfield again this season he has to be dropped, and a backup keeper (done as it seems but still no announcement ?) and last but not least a CB/LW if anyone leaves.
Typing that out AGAIN makes me realize how fucked >we are, holy shit this windows is a disaster.

Ok so I have some questions here
Does this mean that partey is ready for his saudi bid? As in he doesn’t give a fuck and just wants to relax?
Does it mean we’re trying to have him take a pay cut? Even considering his insane wages I think that’s very unrealistic because I really doubt we’re trying to extend him for more than a year, two at most.
Or is it the third and most likely, he already has an offer from someone else? This could be tied into the first question because otherwise I don’t see why this is faltering

>>149319012
On xitter.

Btw spee, who do you think we'll sign, Sesko or Gyokeres? I don't think Watkins is going to make Teta happy, but he is the "cheapest" option. Gyok is looking likely now, his agent is making such a hubbub, but his fee is pretty high. Sesko looking less likely despite being Teta's main target, apparently the fee is a massive hurdle for >us, his agent also seems to have a change in tone. I honestly want Sesko, feels like his physicality is the perfect match for >us and PL. Gyok is good, but after he got marked by Saliba, he had no little to no impact. Although, he was isolated to shit in that game. I have reservations on him.

The way xitter arsenal fans talks about him unironically pissed me off, ngl. Leao or Rodrygo (these two are xitter fans favourite LW toy right now) won't do half as much as work as he does on the pitch for 90 minutes. He's a good lad, always works his ass off both offensively and defensively. But Teta need to teach him how to attack, he's so limited in that department. His deep run and chipped cross to the far post with his weak foot is doing enough so far, but still, he needs to do more. Feels like he has regressed quite a bit. Hearing rumours now that the club is looking to sell him, on his birthday mine you, like, fuck off man.

In other news, maybe instead of bin dipping the Chelshite dumpster, >we would turn to Barcelona? They have, like, half a squad on the yard sale right now. Forwards, defenders, goalies - you name it. How you reckon, lads?

>[James McNicholas] Partey’s preference is to stay but the player is entertaining offers from elsewhere. If he leaves for free, Arsenal may not have the budget to replace him with a similar quality. While the situation is unresolved, Arsenal are discussing options including Sevilla’s Lucien Agoume
>A number of targets that Arteta favoured are moving elsewhere: Mbuemo, Huijsen, Sane and Williams
>Arsenal do have alternative targets but that list is diminishing
>Despite rumours linking Martinelli to an exit, there has been no significant developments
Martinelli is happy at Arsenal and when Berta came in, a clear message was communicated to the player that he is a valued contributor and that Arsenal expect him to stay
>Martinelli’s current contract runs 2 more years until 2027. The club also have a further one year option to extend to 2028
>However, if an attractive buyer came in at the right price, Arsenal’s position could shift if the money enabled them to land some of their top targets
>Kepa is expected to complete his move to Arsenal
>Kepa incoming could mean the departure of Hein leaving. There is loan interest from La Liga clubs but Arsenal would be open to a permanent deal
>Arsenal are continuing in their efforts to sign a striker and would like to add a wide player with Rodrygo and Gordon of interest.
>Potential to also sign a defender too

so basically >we have no money left after ‘potentially’ signing a striker and a LW - who are increasingly hard to sign because all the main targets are either a)too expensive or b)already tapped up by other clubs and since >we aren’t likely to sell anyone there is absolutely no wiggle room money wise. Best case scenario is a (backup) keeper, young-ish defender, Partey staying, a LW and striker. Grim to the max and the club is once again idling around too long and are about to be out of options.
