Messi is one of the greatest players ever.

But winning Lel Liga with Barça isn't an accomplishment, and Argentina was heavily favoried in the World Cup. Only his UCL trophies are worth something.

Nah, the same is valid for Penaldo. Winning with Real Madrid in Lel Liga is worth shit. And Portugal wise, lel.

The reason I didn't mention Penaldo is because he is CLEARLY not in the same tier as Messi. He was always a tier or two below, but his dicksucking fans did a good job at making him seem relevant.
