I like the idea, even if most matches will be very lopsided in the group stage, but hand picking Inter Miami to participate is a new level of WWEfication of football. I thought the regular world cup was bad enough with the hosts openly talking about them wanting Argentina to win and then the refs blatantly helping them, but this is even worse. They had no business qualifying. They are dog shit. There's also no chance the groups were made at random. Inter Miami got by far the easiest group it could get. And even kick starting the tournament against Al-Ahly feels suspicious, like they didn't want to risk Messi getting humiliated on the opening match. FIFA really, really wants football to catch up in America and India, and those two retarded markets are obsessed with "narratives" and don't seem to care about rigging.
