Porto are pretty bad right now, and maybe sudacas have a bit of an advantage since this is a mid-season tournament for them rather than a full-on prep ruiner after a full season. And then you also have the expectation of European teams comparatively lacking motivation in general. Palmeiras are the dominant Brazilian club in recent years

This is the worst Porto squad in the last 30-40 years. The way we're playing right now, Palmeiras is walking into this match as the clear favorites, I can tell you that much. Current Porto pretty much runs like headless chickens - our defense is completely unorganized, we're in a severe lack of a real playmaker and our midfield-to-forward transitions are god awful, it's basically an unorganized squad that looks like no one knows what to do with the ball. If we were in our usual past form I would very easily bet on a Porto win, but as it is now it's a no way Jose. But any case
