I'm sure it still stings a bit, winning a World Cup at home is a special thing, and Brazilians were already tragically denied in 1950. Brazil is a proud and great football nation, losing like this unacceptable in any case, but in a World Cup semifinal? At home?

It was a much needed wake-up call imo, that Brazil was absolute garbage that only got to the semis because of luck (or rigging), and if it had to go through the qualifiers it would have been as exposed as the current Brazil was. Shame it feels that nobody really learned a lesson, it's more like ever since then none of the players enjoy playing for the national team anymore.
