not really, there are tons of independent mens leagues that have low expenses it's not like WNBA that will need NBA support in broadcasting and arenas etc. a women's baseball league won't have that much attendance and can easily rent out small minor league or independent ballparks at low cost for their trumped-up exhibition matches. it's just gonna be another local independent baseball circuit like the Atlantic League or Frontier League but with womenz. Can anybody explain what drives parents to put their daughters in baseball instead of softball? My sons play Little League and a few of the teams have a girl. Most of them are so bad compared to the boys. In tee ball it doesn’t matter so much but by double A (kid pitch) the skills gap is evident. Is it just a development approach before moving them to softball? Surely people don’t expect their daughters to play high school ball with the boys, right?
