I'm pretty sure every team competing is taking it serious considering the price pool, else they wouldn't bother to show up or send their B Teams.
However it is true that some teams come into it buckbroken after a full season and in the middle of a non-competitive break.
Pretty dumb that some teams are in a break and others are in peak form, also pretty dumb that the timezone and weather is such a massive liability.

Because PSG is build different, they unironically have the best team in the world right now, that whole squad is like an FM save where you get a bunch of hard working kids with 180-200 potential ability, they're at their peak.
Plus, there is no competition against PSG in Uber Eats, so they can rotate a lot, luxury a lot of clubs around the world doesn't have else they would lose points.

This is another dumb European argument. The World Cup has long been held at timeframe most fitting for Europe and they even cried like babies about the December World Cup. You've created a theory about me without even knowing my opinion.
We didn't win by losing a goal, nobody thinks about that when they miss a shot on goal. What's happened so far only exposes what I've always known and what any retard knows: Europe's second tier is on the same level as the rest of the world.
The only difference is that there's no systematic exposure for me to be able to materially affirm it, even though I've always known it.
Juventus wanted to buy Felipe Anderson and that son of a bitch plays below average in the Brazilian league. He's a hero in an Italian team playing in jeans.
This happens all the time in our football. I could give you 50 examples of bad players who became heroes in Europe, and hero players who go to sleep in Europe and wake up playing very badly in Brazil.

Yes, they naturally played the one against one of their biggest rivals with the main squad. Not surprising. The rest are still played with youth/subs/mixed/whatever term want to use to cope. The point is that the 20+ games a season compared to Euro teams is intellectually dishonest.

Mongrel complex", or alternatively "mutt complex" (Portuguese: complexo de vira-lata, lit.'street dog complex, mutt complex, stray dog complex'), is a expression that refers to a feeling of "collective inferiority complex" reportedly felt by many Brazilians when comparing Brazil and its culture to other parts of the world.

Writing in the 1950s, the playwright Nelson Rodrigues saw his countrymen as afflicted with a sense of inferiority, and he coined a phrase that Brazilians now use to describe it: "the mongrel complex". Brazil has always aspired to be taken seriously as a world power by the heavyweights, and so it pains Brazilians that world leaders could confuse their country with Bolivia, as Ronald Reagan once did, or dismiss a nation so large – it has 180 million people – as "not a serious country", as Charles de Gaulle did.

The idea that the Brazilian people are inferior to others or "degenerate" is not novel and dates back to the 19th century, when French nobleman Arthur de Gobineau visited Rio de Janeiro in 1845 and described the city's residents as "unbelievably ugly monkeys

In 1903, Lobato reveals himself to be profoundly pessimistic about the potential of the Brazilian people, by him thus defined:
>Brazil, son of inferior parents – destitute of these strongest characters that imprint an unmistakable stamp in certain individuals, such as it happens to the German, the English, grew up sadly – resulting in a worthless kind, incapable of continuing to self develop without the vivifying assistance of the blood of some original race

Aside from the mixed origin, Brazilians supposedly would suffer from the fact they live in the tropics, where the "hot and humid climate would predispose inhabitants to sloth and lust" (another thesis that was held dear at the time, geographical determinism, alleged that the true civilizations can only develop in temperate climates).

>Botafogo was named after João Pereira de Sousa Botafogo (1540–1627), who was responsible for the galleon Botafogo's artillery. Because of that, he received the nickname "Botafogo" and included it in his family name. When he went to live in Brazil, the Portuguese Crown granted him the land known today as Botafogo.
