I get thinking that the old one was a bit outdated. Like, from the perspective of one of the executives or whatever. But even if you think that, it still is a big jump from there to this super generic and bland cookie cutter bullshit. You could have modernized it in other ways, without completely neutering it
I am glad my club hasn’t changed crest design (except for some minor details like color intensity) in 110 years and probably has a time-proof design. As a fan of Cambridge or Reims or any other club that has undergone such treatment, I would be fuming
