Ermes is unbelievably strong, even among elite armwrestlers. And yet Levan ripped right through him.
The crazy thing is that Levan himself got stopped by Ermes last time, and this time it was not even remotely close to that, despite Ermes presumably being some 20% stronger than he was back then. Levan seems significantly stronger than even his past self, which was already rightfully regarded as unbeatable.
I can't see Vitaly standing a lick of a chance against this either. I guess Levan will just hold his perfect record until his body declines, due to health reasons or otherwise. And I'm pretty certain he will retire when he notices that happening.
I'm not sure his untouchable dominance is good for the sport. Cadorette, Todd, Gasparini, these matches against Levan were all as boring as it is impressive that they were boring. And now all of their future matches will feel second-rate, because we know nobody is realistically vying for a shot at Levan.
Maybe Levan should at some point start pulling left just to demonstrate vulnerability and give some excitement to the audiences and athletes.
I'm really surprised Irakli lost again. Training with Levan all the time should translate to some wins, and he has impressive strength and dedication too. I had him as someone with promise to continually rise through the ranks (and weight classes) and maybe one day challenge Levan himself. Still not impossible, but seemingly not realistic, he must be lacking some talent/genetics/smarts.
