Does the rest of the world REALLY just watch soccer 365 days a year?

While you LARP about watching multiple sports, your baseball and NHL playoffs games get the same audience or less than Formula 1 or Tennis here. Your dishonesty aside, the USA is a Handegg nation, and you know it.

Except F1 and tennis are actually good.
Unironically, theres no reason to follow multiple sports when it doesnt have an offseason. If baseball, nfl, hockey, basketball were played nonstop, many american people would concentrate in just one sport. Hell this even happens nowadays, specially with canadians and hockey or black people and basketball.
That being said, since i have espn, i watch all 4 american sports, volleyball, f1 and indycar etc. I even watch rugby and cricket when i feel like it. But if i had to watch soccer only for the rest of my life i dont think id miss the other sports that much.

All Americans I know only care about one sport. Most of them just watched basketball. Apparently you only care about multiple sports if you live in a really big city with relevant teams like Los Angeles, New York, or Boston.

Yes, theres also this. If you go to St Louis a lot of them just watch basketball, maybe hockey if the Blues are good but thats it. In Pittsburgh they dont watch NBA. In cities where there are 4 pro teams people are naturally more prone to watch the 4 sports, but if you go to Baltimore for example the number of hockey and basketball fans drop very low in comparison to Philadelphia, and thats not a coincidence.

Here in Brazil we watch volleyball, F1, UFC and some will watch judo and futsal at times.
But football is the only thing you need in life. It's that good.

Sports with high scores are boring.
Look at NBA. You just need to watch the 4th quarter.

Every sport SHOULD have an offseason tho, otherwise it just becomes boring watching the same sport nonstop. imo every country should have atleast two popular sports, one that plays while the other is in offseason.

I donβt mind having football breaks. It is somewhat true that there is too much of it by now
I also follow track and field and the German leagues in handball and ice hockey. And I at least keep track of our basketball league and the European stage. I basically watch anything the German national team competes in. And then thereβs F1 (although it has become much gayer over the years and is unlikely to reach the high that was 2021 anytime soon). Itβs just that football overshadows everything and has quite a long season
