I spent 3 days in Salt Lake City for a work trip, so I can't speak a ton on it, but I found the city to be fine. MUCH smaller than I expected, and maybe even a bit eeirly empty. But that (being empty) is a lot of cities these days. There were a lot of young hot mormon chicks walking around, and I gave a considerable amount of thought to converting to mormonism solely for the possibility of marrying one, but I could never pay something I know is ridiculous fake lip service like that. There were also a lot of hispanic people there too, interestingly enough. I was also interested to find it was infested with homeless in certain parts, almost worse than Portland or Seattle, which is really saying something since those cities, though they've gotten ebtter, still have major homeless problems. But that isn't something I'd ever heard about Salt Lake, yet there they were.

The state itself is mostly arid high desert and so being has natural variety, and some of the best national parks in the country. I've heard on good authority that it has excellent rapids for kayaking, if you're into that sort of thing. but I doubt your average NBA baller cares about that.

Overall I don't think it's that bad of a place, I'd even go as far as to say it was quite beautiful, but I was only there in the summer. I don't know how it is in the winter months, I hear it gets very cold. As someone who has spent a lot of time in pretty much every major American city, I'd place it in my top 3rd as far as cities go. The homeless problem aside, it was quite comfy. And if you're a white man, you would probably feel like a king there.

Go look at Wilts old matches. He would just stand in the paint and post up, and his teammates would have to just stand on the peripherals because theres not much else they could do. The type of player Jokic is, EVERY single one of his teammates would need to be shooters, and thats just not realistic, but also one dimensional. Since even if they make 3s, nobody is being so consistent that its worth not double teaming Jokic in the paint.

What makes Curry special isnt "getting double teamed" its WHERE he gets double teamed, and how he exploits that, by threatening off ball movement if they threaten too much when he has the ball.
