Slam dunk and ping pong the animation are tiers above every other sport anime out there, add in Real if you're into reading mangas and you will definitely join the Inoue GOAT cult like the rest of us

I wouldn't say half, from what i remember its more like 75-80% also i think they recently made a - very weird looking - movie that covers the rest, but regardless the anime even if it isn't complete is still one of the best sport animes ever made, and it being realistic is what gave it an edge over slop like kuroko no basket and blue lock

I liked Kuroko quite a bit but unfortunately it didn't quite hold up on a rewatch (though it didn't help that between the first and second times I got into IRL basketball and could see the degree to which it was complete nonsense). I'm hoping the same thing doesn't happen if/when I rewatch Haikyu.
