perfect
don't forget that dave hates liverpool because his liverpool supporting older brother molested him as a child, this is why he lashes out
if only he had gotten the mental health care he needed, we wouldn't be subjected to him here on 4chan

>you've ruined me season
>Arsenal need a new RB/Right-Footed CB
>Arsenal also need a new LB/Left-Footed CB
>Arsenal also need a new LW
>Arsenal also need a new striker
Well Mosquera fixes the first one, but Calafiori is made of glass. Timber got ruined by hamstring tear. They lost Tierney and Zinchenko. There are plenty of good options out there but not for good prices.
If they get Eze, they then only need a striker (and in my opinion they need a back-up young striker, they lost Obi who would have been perfect) and the LB. But it isn't going to happen without sales.
So as it stands
>Liverpool
>City
Are locked in for title fight. The rest of the top 4 slots depends on other clubs activity. I think Chelsea is likely a lock-in for Top 4. So that depends if Newcastle buy several players and keeps Isak. If Isak goes to Liverpool then Liverpool win the title.
>>149454806
Zinchenko is such a weird player. He's a LB who, going forward is very high quality, but then as an actual defender he's relegation fodder-tier.

not sure why city is considered a lock. think their transfers have been shit for a while. yeah rodri will be back but idk if thats enough to just say they're title contenders right away

It wasn't just Rodri being out, it was their CBs all being injured, them having no proper fullbacks and their midfielders being sluggish and old and having no legs, they were relying on Kovacic and Gundogan to stop counter-attacks. Now they have Rodri, Nico as his backup and Reijnders in midfield which gives their attacking players far more license to go forward, and they've got an actual left-back now too.

Literally seething lmao. Liverpool are admired as having the best transfer management in the world. Even Real Madrid envy us, as they can only sign players on a free unless they're pacey ngubus. Liverpool have had a couple of flops in a decade. The majority of players they sign go on to become world beaters and, importantly, they rarely over pay or rush into unwise deals.
Contrast this with banter clubs like United or Arsenal and you'll see Liverpool are leagues ahead. They'll win the next 3 out of 5 league titles by the way. Nobody comes close.

City have signed better players than Liverpool. Wirtz is the only concensus "upgrade" so far. You have the same amount of good signings as arsenal, who signed your primary target after he rejected you btw. If arsenal get rodrygo and sesko, and Chelsea get Morgan Rodgers and gyokeres, they've had a way better window than Liverpool. Liverpool fans are so used to having uneventful windows that when they have one semi decent one it's suddenly the greatest window ever.

>Leeds have apologised "unreservedly" after German authorities said their fans are unable to attend pre-season matches in the country.
>The Whites will travel to Germany for an eight-day training camp as they prepare for their return to the Premier League.
>Daniel Farke's side made a similar trip last summer and were asked by police and local authorities not to bring supporters because of the resources needed to host Euro 2024.
>Leeds say they had "written assurances" from the German Football Association and their tour operator that fans could attend this year, but have now been told they cannot.
>"Frustratingly, despite having matches agreed for a number of months, we have in the last week been informed that the police and local authorities will once again not grant a permit for us to play matches in front of spectators, will prohibit us from providing live updates and video streams, and have requested we discourage supporter travel," Leeds said in a statement.
>"This comes despite multiple attempts to find a solution including offering various assurances, pursuing alternative scenarios that would allow for fan attendance, and even evaluating moving camp to a different location on short notice.
>"Unfortunately, those efforts were fruitless due to the last-second nature of our change in circumstances.
>"This result is deeply frustrating to all of us, just as it is sure to frustrate and anger you, our loyal supporters, to whom we apologise unreservedly for this outcome."

For a little while after that the dweeb had this massively inflated sense of belief that he was genuinely hard as nails because of it. Obviously didn't take long before the dweeb got put straight back in his box and he, like the others who started to fear him, finally realised that he wasn't hard as nails. He had just got lucky once.

£90m on Antony
£75m on Sancho
£70m on Hojlund
£50m on Onana
£60m on Mount
That's not even the tip of the iceberg. They spend £200m every year on garbage.

Player of the tournament for me was Elliot and Hutchinson did alright near the end. Cresswell was immense as well. Beadle fucked up a few times but did alright a couple.
Anyway, congrats. Shame we couldn't win U19 or U17. Also shame that Carsley is Irish.

Yes, they're sponsors. Yes, fans would much rather wear shirts with their club's name there, or better yet with absolutely nothing on that space. No, the club doesn't care because they get millions upon millions from those sponsors.

As a person that's highly uneducated on the subject, the sponsors are paying for their name to be out there. It doesn't make sense for the fans but it makes sense for it to be there. Having a million people wear your name in big bold letters everywhere in the world is exactly what the sponsors are paying for. Fans pay for it because that also supports their club and because we live in a consumerist world. Would they pay more for a sponsor-less shirt? I don't know. The shirts are already like 70-80 Euros if not more. But I imagine it'd be way too much hassle for a club to actually make them and it probably would reduce the amount of money they can get from sponsors cause the sponsors are going to look at the club and say "Well, your fans aren't going to wear our shirts so why would we pay you 100m instead of like 50m" or whatever. And presumably the clubs can't make up the remaining 50m from the clean shirts. That's what my brain says.
I don't think there's any argument to be made as to which one looks better but it's just one of those things.

I agree, the only start he got he was played on the left wing and was useless. But as the namefag said he was used to inject energy and pace near the end of the game and keep the opposition pegged back. It worked. I fully expect Nwaneri to be a focal point in two years time, when he'll be 19 or 20 I forget how old he is atm.
Fun fact Italy are the only nation to have won it three times in a row. So we really need to win it in 2027.

Either way I still do not know how they are affording all these players, unless they're expecting to sell more. But due to their contract lengths they want silly money. Madueke would be a good signing for many clubs but they want £50m for him which is insane. £25m, sure.

Yeah Celtic has always had a fair few Japs like Nakamura etc. But they have gone balls to the walls recently with a lot of them. They've bought like 10 or so in the last 5 seasons (granted only four have really worked out) and a couple of gooks. My guess is that they're cheap and are a 'higher level' than 90% of SPL players so immediately make the team better if they work out. The Japs see it as a way to get a different passport if they want and to possible move to the big leagues and then can go back home at 35 and be happy.

>Gyokeres has a 'gentlemen's agreement' to leave for £59m
>Sporting want £70m flat
>Sesko had a 'gentlemen's agreement' to leave for £60m
>Leipzig want £70m+
What is the point? Why would any player trust the word these clubs say? Like you can point to the likes of United and Chelsea paying silly money for players (Cunha wasn't worth £62.5m but United just paid the release clause and shrugged) and all the fees Chelsea paid. You now got Sporting talking about how Zubimendi went for £51m so Gyokeres can go for £70m. What? He's a completely different player in a vastly superior league. Portugal isn't even Top 5. At least Leipzig has a leg to stand on being a Top 5 league.
A grim state of affairs and they're going to buy neither. Watch them wrap up Norgaard, Mosquera, Zubimendi and maybe somebody else and then do nothing for two months and panic buy Jackson for £55m after two losses and a draw in first three games.

If Newcastle want to improve they'll need to spend, otherwise it's Jacob Murphy for another year.
