Look at their response to the covid plandemic. They gave all of their players placebo batch and then shill the experimental gene therapy on the cattle. They all saw dollar signs and you saw CLOROX and PFIZER popping up all over the court. I mean who cares if millions of people died for big pharma when there was PROFITS to be had?

I grew up idolizing athletes and when the Plandemic hit 99% of athletes completely folded and only a handful of those multimillionaires stood up against the machine.

Damar Hamlin probably went to some walgreens and got the real clot shot and almost died on the field. Then the NFL covered it up and tried to profit off it.

Take MLB for example. Some rich guy buys the dodgers. Spends a fuck ton of money and defers Ohtani's contract 30 years. VOILA world champions. A real person with a soul who was leading the MLB would say. "Hmm this isn't right there should be more parity in the league and stricter salary conditions" But no he's a soulless clown that just sees dollar signs.

Because that's basically their job description - to just be a single recognizable face for everyone to focus all their hatred at for the things they don't like about the sport and the decisions the owners make (the actual people in charge)
They do have varying degrees of autonomy and Manfred has by far been the worst of them with the power he's had
