No, it's pretty typical for drivers to move between different series/formats. Not as often as it was 20+ years ago, but it still happens. A lot of drivers either never make it to F1 or do but only last a little while (or they eventually age out), then try to move to either IndyCar, sports cars, or Formula E or something. Sports cars especially since there's so many different series and thus seats around the world (with WEC being on top, but IMSA and the various GTWC series up there as well). NASCAR is like its own little bubble doing its own thing, so you don't often see drivers move from open wheel or sports cars to NASCAR, but it does happen occasionally. Danica and Montoya come to mind, they did it for a long while, but there's others as well. You often see a lot more drivers doing one-off races for NASCAR than you used to, but mainly only for road courses. It's kind of the same with Rally, it being in its own bubble, though I don't watch that much so I'm sure there are exceptions I don't know about.

Which are the best legend cars series to watch today? The ones that have the best level of racing and less shittery involved. well it's not that strange, many rally drivers have done things in other disciplines; the most recent Rovanperä who participated in a Drift championship I think and other things on circuits.
I would say it's a round trip. Right now we have Jos Verstappen participating in european rallies and Kovalainen in Japan, last year there were rumors about Bottas' possible participation but I don't know what happened

Well, first you pay to suck the carting dick, then F3 dick, then F2 dick (unless your dad owns a dealership and you can skip right to the big show) then you languish as a "backup driver" and maybe you get 2.5 races to prove yourself until they see someone in F2 they like more.
It's a pretty shitty scam where paying for your seat, knowing people or, better yet, being related to them is the fastest and most sure way to the top, which is basically the same every career field. Also, pay drivers in all other disciplines are terrible, but in Fag1, it's ok for some reason. It has a lot less to do with ability than most people would have you believe. Earing your way to the top is pretty much Hollywood movie magic.

This is the most based post I have seen maybe ever ITT.
I never saw the C5.R race in its prime, but I did see the C6.R flat out and it was absolutely spectacular. I'll never forget it as long as I live. I saw it at Thursday night practice at Pitet and it was genuinely painful every time it went past until I got ear plugs. Even then, you could feel it in your sinuses, chest and through your feet. To this day, it is my favorite race car ever. I've seen he C5.R and Viper in historic races and they are pretty equal, but for me, its the C6.R just because I saw it first IRL full on competition.

They'll race in the rain in Chicago. Unless it's like pouring, Cup race will start on time. Prob is every year we've been here it's rained, so we haven't actually seen what a clean race would look like. WC has it as a 60% chance Sunday, with morning showers and afternoon storms. Xfinity race tomorrow should be good tho, almost no chance for rain.

There's so few tracks where rain tires are an option, I don't know that I even like it. Obviously some are better than others, so shitty cars outrun faster cars, but it's also not a skill these guys have the ability to practice much. This series highlights the best stock car drivers in the world, it will never highlight the best rain drivers.

Rain also makes SVG an even bigger favorite than he already is. Barring getting damage, crashed out, or suffering some penalty, there's no reason for him not to win on Sunday. I think Larson, Bell, and Gibbs might keep him honest, but over the course of a tire run he's so much better than the field at these courses it shouldn't be close.
