The transfer window is now open and this summer's coming and goings must be decided. You may pick up to 21 different players, and the ones with the most votes will make the team, though we do reserve the right to exclude players if there is reason to do so (like making representation more balanced). A sitewide divegrass (sawker) cup where each board makes their own team, and play them against each other in CPU vs CPU matches on Pro Evolution Soccer. It's a refreshing and somewhat light-hearted time for sure with none of the commercial or competitional flaws of the "real" game, is that what you mean? Even though the lightheartedness is up to debate, we want to win this shit and don't get mocked by other boards after all. Kind of crazy how a virtual divegrass tournament on an Uyghur goat-breeding forum can be so enthralling. At least that's my own experience
For years, it went like this for me: I knew my club would fuck things up, and with /sp/ I could at least have genuine hope before the inevitable crash. That was arguably even worse, but the high before it was worth it. So I'd be inclined to agree with you if my club hadn't finally given me the surreal bliss of reaching the desired goal. That was wonderful. And looking over to the 4CC now ... 12 years of hurt, the Kornheiser slip still hurts, all these rollercoaster rides with highs and lows eventually ending in a low every single time ... I don't know whether it is that enjoyable all in all as a /sp/artan, it's hard to still believe
But just like I do with my club, I will keep going and hoping (and, if necessary, coping). It would be worth it all if it finally came home. And since this was the season for my club, maybe it's the season for DA GOATS as well?

just genuinely think it's more entertaining, even if /sp/ dont win there are quite a few other boards I'm fond of but even some boards that I never visit have likeable memes to them, also it being a quarterly thing that suits me a lot more I'm just too jaded with modern football to consistently give a shit about it anymore
