This just popped in my head all of a sudden. What went wrong in your opinion and are there ways in which they can actually get fans interested in this if they try again?

It only works for casuals who might quickly lose interest when their super team suddenly looks like losers in the "super league" because they can't win without the money gap advantage

American owners failed to differentiate that the US sports system doesn't work in Europe simple as. This will never happen because of the backlash of fans
