it's very interesting how this "number of attempts" doesn't matter when it's convenient to your pecho frio idol, but suddenly it's very relevant and important when discussing ANY of Cristiano's stats.

Who is pretending? He always was a "volume shooter" which is a euphemism for attempt merchant. Most games, most shots, most minutes etc.
3 years in Italy, 70+ attempts and just one goal. He's even the official worst free kick taker in Serie A history.

It's so crazy that at his peak he was so clear of Messi, at the time Messi had 0 free-kick goals, and now Messi has more than him. And he doesn't have to do a stupid meme stance.

In 2018, Messi scored 10 free-kick goals.

Ronaldo's highest scoring season was 6 in 2013.

Ronaldo has scored 7 free-kicks post-covid...Messi has scored 15
