>>149684009 >now post the number of attempts
Lionel Messi won like 3 international finals out of 8 with Argentina
Lionel Messi won 1 CL out of 12 attempts (between 2011 - 2023)
it's very interesting how this "number of attempts" doesn't matter when it's convenient to your pecho frio idol, but suddenly it's very relevant and important when discussing ANY of Cristiano's stats.
Who is pretending? He always was a "volume shooter" which is a euphemism for attempt merchant. Most games, most shots, most minutes etc.
3 years in Italy, 70+ attempts and just one goal. He's even the official worst free kick taker in Serie A history.
>>149684259 >dude look at cristiano fk conversion rate >what about Messi's atrocious penalty conversion rate? >n-no s-stop you're not allowed to bring him up, not like that, s-s-SHUT UP!!!

It's so crazy that at his peak he was so clear of Messi, at the time Messi had 0 free-kick goals, and now Messi has more than him. And he doesn't have to do a stupid meme stance.
>>149684273 >In Serie A, Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the worst free-kick takers in the league's history, specifically ranking second to last based on attempts without scoring. One analysis suggests he didn't score even once from 13 attempts. While another source says he had 72 attempts with only one goal, resulting in a 1.4% conversion rate. Camillo Ciano, who played for Frosinone, previously held the record for the most consecutive free-kicks without a goal at 21 attempts.

casuals only think Penaldo was great at them, because the ones he scored are usually bangers
they only see the highlights and not the countless attempts

I've actually been watching Manu matches from the 2000s recently. 70% of the match, he does step-overs and then falls over. I'm convinced Scholes and Giggs carried him in his early career
