>Taylor Swift’s fans are expressing concern after the singer partied with Jackson Mahomes while supporting her beau, Travis Kelce, at the Kansas City Chiefs game.

>Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother, who was charged with three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery in May and has a hearing scheduled for Tuesday, could be seen behind Swift in many clips from Sunday’s face-off against the Los Angeles Chargers.

>Jackson, 23, was even included in Swift’s special handshake with Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, as the songwriter, 33, high-fived him.

>Many β€œscared” social media users begged Swift’s team to β€œkeep him away” from her at future matches, saying the footage made them β€œwant to puke.”

Brady's stats weren't special back then, he only averaged 3,500 yards whereas Peyton averaged 4k yards in his 20s.

Mahomes isn't competing against Brady, he's competing against Peyton and Rodgers who actually had good stats in their 20s.

I don't start the goat debates, I just finish them. They are inherently stupid since we have no clue how Mahomes career will turn out. Brady is the goat.

I'm just stating a fact that Mahomes objectively has the best start to a career at this age. Not sure why that bothers the Brady bots so much.

There is no other argument. He stat mogs them, has more rings/MVPs, and dominates them in the playoffs.

This is the most one-sided beatdown since Michael Jordan. At least Peyton had more MVPs and better per game stats than Brady, these guys have nothing over Mahomes.

I do think Mahomes is still the best QB in the league. However if Mahomes continues to decline in the regular season, and any of Allen, Lamar, Burrow have another AP-caliber season and win the Owl or at least get there, I think they will have a more than fair claim to being the best QB.

Allen, Lamar, or Burrow could all win superbowls in the next 3 seasons. Combined they would tie Mahomes.

Or Allen could 3peat and guess what, he'd still have one less MVP than Mahomes. The gap is so big they will never catch up.

Only Purdy or Jalen stand a chance of passing him since their GM knows how to build super teams. But even if they do nobody will take those two roster babies seriously.

If going to 3 straight Superbowls and winning 2 of them is what a "slump" looks like Chiefs can only hope this continues. The guy was a coinflip in overtime from playing in 6 of the last 7 Superbowls, he's never had a bad season by any other QB's standards.

In 2024 he was on an 18 game win streak and just got done winning back to back rings and people were complaining he wasn't blowing teams out. Only Mahomes is held to these absurd standards.

One good season just means you're the MVP. Mahomes has had more good seasons than them. He passed Brady as the best player because he was statmogging him, winning MVPs, and rings. You don't get the title of best by just having good stats for one season.

Suppose the following happens:
>KC goes 12-5
>Mahomes puts similar stats as the past 2 years, i.e. average to below average in box score,
>KC loses in the divisional. Kelce retires
>[Burrow] wins MVP and Allen was the runner-up. One of them goes to the superb owl and wins it.
Given all of this, would it be stupid to say that in the year 2025 and 2026, a full 7-8 years after Mahomes' explosive prime, one of them could be ranked as the #1 QB in the game?

Only one problem, he's still putting up the best postseason stats. He only trails Brady in total pass TDs, playoff wins, and Superbowl MVPs. His post season passer rating in the last 2 seasons is 101, which is absurdly high. To put that into context Brady played 23 seasons and only had a passer rating of 100+ four times in the playoffs (Mahomes did it 5 times).

Maybe if Lamar wins a 3rd MVP you could call him the best. Allen is 0-4 against him in the playoffs so it would be hard to rank him above Mahomes. Burrow needs to worry about making the playoffs.

Athletes get better with time. With the NBA only a few athletes could dunk in the 80s like Jordan and nobody could shoot 3s. Nowadays there's 3 dudes on each team who can dunk like Jordan and you don't make the practice squad if you can't shoot 3s.

The QBs of the 70s handed the ball off to running backs half the time and didn't throw as much in college. They aren't as talented as the modern QB. Modern players have more lean muscle mass and break combine records each season. Even the range of kickers has increased where 60+ yard kicks are now common.

Put Baker or Allen in the 80s and they dog walk everyone. Simple as. Ask a real ball knower like the kiwi and he'd agree.

Why do you think modern athletes are better? It's because they have access to more resources and more specialization than athletes of the past, not because they're magically higher quality. I'm not arguing they are genetically superior. I'm just saying there's a reason their passer rating and combine stats keep improving. It has less to do with rule changes than people think, the modern QBs are simply more skilled than the dudes from the 70s-90s. If you ignore the all time greats like Peyton, Brady, Farve, Montana, Rodgers, etc.... the average QB back then wouldn't qualify for a backup role in today's game.

There's several metrics you can use to measure who won an era.
>Rings, MVPs, stats, all-pros, and wins
Since Mahomes became a starter in 2018 no QB has surpassed him in any of these, at best they've only tied him.

Brady tied him in rings but has less total MVPs. Lamar tied him in league MVPs, but has less rings and playoff wins. Maybe if you combined Lamar, Brady, and Burrow you might TIE Mahomes.

What Brady did before Mahomes got into the league is irrelevant to the topic of what happened when their eras overlapped.

From 2018 to 2022 no QB had more TDs, yards, rings, playoff wins, or total MVPs than Mahomes. It's a one sided beatdown the likes of which we haven't seen since prime Jordan or Gretzky

Already repeated this too many times. The fact is Mahomes' statistical prime is far behind Brady's statistical prime. The only QB on a level with Brady in this regard is Peyton. Irrespective of prime, Brady also has far more career accomplishments. Through their first 7 years, they have won the same # of SBs, and are almost identical in era-adjusted stats, with Brady having an all-time-all-time season (the only other two that can be mentioned in the same breadth are 2004 Peyton and 1984 Marino).
Here's the thing: Mahomes is right now 3/7. If he does not win again next year, he'll be 3/8 and already behind schedule. Mahomes is entering his age 30 season. In order to catch Brady he needs to win NOW. Because it's easy to guarantee Mahomes will not win multiple SBs in his 40s.
So as it stands now

Maybe if you'd stop comparing him to Brady I wouldn't have to do this. I don't do this for Allen-Brady comparisons because no one makes those. The Chiefs' 2025 schedule is the closet thing to a Montreal Screwjob I've ever seen. They play the #1 ranked Chargers defense in Brazil, then have to fly 18 hours back home to play the Eagles who had the #2 ranked defense. Followed by the Bills, Ravens, AND Lions.

If all of this fails to stop Mahomes they'll use the nuclear option and bust him for steroids even though they're aware all QBs are on the sauce. The casinos are fine with you getting lucky, but if you win too much they send their goons on you. They won't let him go to 6 superbowls.

Complete horse shit. He was Cristiano Ronaldo and Peyton was Messi, in so far as the entire media hates Ronaldo and really wanted to position Messi as being superior to him.

Of course Peyton and Brady are no longer Ronaldo and Messi because Peyton isn't even in the conversation anymore. Brady has moved so far ahead of everybody else in any discussion of greatest QB of all time that it is no longer even a discussion.

This is the peak of his career, the Niners are in a Super Bowl window, and now he’s signing up for sleepless nights, emotional fatigue, and split priorities? You can’t be all-in on football when you’ve got a newborn at home. The NFL doesn’t care how good of a dad you are, it cares if you’re focused, rested, and obsessed with winning. Ben Johnson probably fucked his career (at least for now) by holding firm with the Jags and insisting they fire Baalke, because that's a team that already has the pieces for him to turn it around and he probably could have gotten Baalke fired once he showed some success.

With the Bears extending Poles contract, it appears they have more faith in their GM (as incompetent as he is) than their new HC and the fact is that Caleb ain't no Trevor Lawrence, which means the Bears will continue to suck (though they'll do better this season) until Johnson and Poles are both shitcaned and Caleb is traded away by whoever comes in to rebuild the Bears (yet again).

It all starts with the owner and while Khan is a dumbass, he's not a meddler like the McCaskeys.

If the Eagles didn't take him the Giant would have (when Philly moved up the Giants panicked and ended up with Kadarius Toney kek). Might as well get something out of it (though all they got was Chauncey Golston).

In your own list Brady was considered a top 6 QB of all time by the end of the 2009 season by the people that wrote that. You can also easily find pieces calling him a top 3 QB of all time by 2007, with many ready to crown him the GOAT
https://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs07/columns/story?columnist=sando_mike&id=3209882
It's not unlike how Mahomes would already be considered the 2nd GOAT had he won last owl. It's just that that mountain Mahomes has to scale is much larger than the one Brady had to scale (i.e. matching Brady vs matching Montana)
Since you want to bring media opinions, let's point out Brady was all decade QB1 for the 2000s and 2010s. No one will ever surpass that.
>>149777713
Brady was considered by most the GOAT by 2014, though it was a neck and neck, first among equals thing with Montana. 2016 just ended the conversation. Add 3 more SB appearances, more MVPs, 2 more all pros, 2 more rings, including one with a new team, and the he's doubled the next closest.

I don’t see how they possibly plugged the hole on their greatest weakness last year, which was a complete lack of a run game. Without play action Dak will be very neutered in what he can do and doubly so coming off the injury. I think their defensive front while good is very undersized and gets worn down as the season goes on, which we’ve seen time and again in Micah’s numbers plummeting after the first half of the season.

Goff is a superior thrower of the football. Goff just shits his pants under pressure unlike Hurts who gets better under pressure. Hurts also has an unstoppable tush push since he benches 600lbs. If you needed to win the regular season you'd take Goff, if you needed to win a Superbowl you'd take Hurts.

>offense
Dak is bad, he looked like shit last year before he got hurt. The O-line has massive holes. As anon said, the run game doesn't exist. Lamb is pretty good but he's a slot babby (and again, he will be held back by weak QB/run game).
>defense
Parsons is great but overrated. Odighizuwa is good but overrated. The rest are shit. The d-line is awful, one of the worst in run defense last year and might be worse. Overshown looked good but his knee is mashed potatoes. The rest of the LBs are awful. And finally, the secondary is trash. Diggs is already ded and washed (though he was never good). Bland is bad. Like Diggs he's a gambler and can't cover, and he's also coming off a big injury. Next man up is Kaiir Elam.
I will say, though, Kavonte Turpin is really good at returning kicks.
