I don't really follow the NBA much but I do see a lot of people talk about the NBA becoming a middle class league filled with nepo babies and kids who never struggled. The stereotype of the hard gangster black guy who was able to escape the hood through playing basketball seems to be gone, instead you have suburban blacks like ja morant trying to appear harder than they are and fucking up their careers because of it
