Brady makes boomers like me seethe as well
Us boomers know he got helped by refs (tuck rule), cheating (spy gate) a good defense and the GOAT kicker
He went 18-1
He played in a division where his toughest rival were the jets for 20 years and then jumped ship to a stacked Bucs team
Also got helped by the refs against the Ravens and then deflate gate

I don't want to start a debate or anything, but Brady is GOATier than Jordan.
Brady is basically what you would get if you combined Jordan's statistical peak, LeBron's longevity and MVPs, and Russel's rings (more realistically it'd be more like 18 rings, i.e. more rings than any single team).

Brady often had the best stats. His 07 season is by most measures the single best statistical season of all time (highest DYAR, 2nd highest DVOA, highest EPA, 2nd highest EPA/play, highest QBR). It is in fact you who doesn't know anything. Brady is statistically a top 2 regular season QB, the other being Peyton.

LeBron took a shit cavs team and came back against the greatest team in NBA history. Hes got 50k points and he laps MJ in triple doubles. Once you are in the GOAT discussion, stats are basically irrelevant. Aura is way more important at the top levels. Everyone recognizes Maradona as the GOAT over Messi because Maradona had aura and shine. Nobody would dare fuck Maradona’s wife because Maradona had aura and commanded respect.
Meanwhile, everyone was fucking Tom Brady’s wife. Brady didn’t command respect from anyone besides the league commissioner.

Brady is Messi, MJ is Maradona.

Sherman had been trash-talking Brady throughout the game, even telling him he would intercept the next pass. Wasn’t the same team. In 2013 Brady couldn’t even put up 20 points on the Broncos. He still threw 2 interceptions against that very diminished Seahawks defense and those 4 tds were baby boy tds if I remember correctly.
Brady beat up on weak defenses and then had to get bailed out by refs when he played a good defense. Brady is clearly 5 or 6 or 7 behind Manning, Brews, Montana and probably Mahomes.
Dan Marino was better. I’d even throw Andrew Luck in there maybe. Young was better too. And Elway.
Like there are just too many quarterbacks who are as good or even much better than Brady. Whereas MJ is basically the undisputed GOAT all things considered, and if not there is only 1 or two guys who can even compare. Tom Brady is just another guy and that’s how history will remember him.
