If a individual wanted to do shady stuff to influence a bet they could but you can't rig a winner.

it has been proven to happen for i guess every single sport, More so in some like sumo and boxing, combat sports are easier to fix, now saying "all top level sports are fixed" nah thats some tin foil hat level exageration, just think about all the moving parts and people that need to stay quiet for something like rigging the entire world cup or something like some people claim FIFA did for Messi, even when proven fixing happen Is usually something along the lines of some player/ ref doing some Shady shit to Alter some outcomes, lots of times Is not even the actual final Score just shaving a point difference or something, not a complete rigging/coreographed result

Either institutionally or at least there is always one player or ref fixing in their own way.

I don't think they're straight up fixed but sometimes leagues can and will put their thumbs on the scale

maybe not ALL but here's a fun fact about the NFL: according to a 2010-2011 (forget the exact year) legal filing, only three 'sports leagues' in america qualify as "SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT". the three sports leagues in question?

>roller derby
>professional wrestling
>NFL

not even kidding. also, any sport with a non-recorded draft lottery is definitely fixed for the lottery only. oh, and most 'mma' leagues are at least 'rigged' insofar as the match makers will definitely try and do shit to handicap any challenger to their preferred champion. finally, 'fixed' means "the outcome is already determined and we can guarantee it will happen" (like professional wrestling) whereas 'rigged' means "we have a PREFERRED outcome that we will definitely help facilitate, but the ACTUAL outcome is not predetermined" (like the NFL) . as it pertains to major american sports, the least 'fixed' team sport at the highest level is probably baseball.

you see it all the time in fixtures for team a to play team b (or to get an easy path to that) because they know it'll bring in huge money. that's very easy to fix and I'd assume it's seen in all sports tournaments at least

Itโ€˜s proven you only need to fix the referees and the winning team gets like five penalties on the road to the WC

In grade school I was the cool kid who had all the stats memorized and I would just shoot them off. Everyone loved having me around and valued me for that, and it's all because I read the sports Almanac, my parents got one at the thrift store one day by chance (we were poor immigrants, now I'm coming to be a poor immigrant in Germany delivering gls packages but I'm gonna get jacked and fuck buerretes)

Thanks man. You think I should try to do CNC or shoot for a commercial driver's license to one day hopefully drive a gravel truck?
I don't feel bad. Everything is on record, I worked as an AutoCAD drafter in America for almost half a decade. Low labor in a new country doesn't define me. Spinoza was a CNC operator too.
And when I get down to 165 lbs I'm taking an IQ test to put the nail in the coffin of the gangstalkers.

Wanna know how i know the world cup isnt fixed? Because if It was we would have multiple ones, this a big ass country with a lot of fans and known proclivity to partake in corruption at all levels, Its not a wealthy country but is not piss poor either and volume alone makes It a big cash cow for FIFA (also not known for being the cleanest organization) if It was so Easy to fix/Buy your way to a trophy you can be damn sure that Mรฉxico would have done It already aint no matter how balantly stolen It would look, a similar case could prolly be Made for other countries like England.

The one cup that i believe theres enough Shady shit surroudning it for saying It may have been fixed was 1978, and even then the whole thing falls on the game against Perรบ, shit was way too convenient and unlikely and bieng that both countries were under military dictatorships acting a fool was a sure way to end up being thrown to the sea from a plane after being shocked in the nuts
