rosberg outqualified hamil in both 2014 and 2016. he qualified 1st or 2nd in every single round in 2016 which is something I don't think anyone has ever managed to do.

Hamilton had three qualifiyings where his car had problems in 2014 but even if you take those away Rosberg still outqualifies him.
I think 2014 was Rosberg's actual WDC season, there were a lot of things going on where journalists clearly picked the side of Hamilton, would only focus on his bad luck and blamed Rosberg for everything both where involved in.
