Yes there can be women’s rugby league, no it shouldn’t be subsidised by anyone at all if it’s professional it should stand on its own merits and scale itself properly like any normal business model as a professional league. No problem whatsoever if individual clubs want to promote their women’s teams as they see fit. NRLW should be treated as a separate entity to the NRL with separate revenue streams and sponsorship and everything otherwise we will end up with idiots demanding the same wages and half the money for sponsorship and tv rights and etc so if it’s kept separate from the beginning that can’t happen
