Yes there can be womenโs rugby league, no it shouldnโt be subsidised by anyone at all if itโs professional it should stand on its own merits and scale itself properly like any normal business model as a professional league. No problem whatsoever if individual clubs want to promote their womenโs teams as they see fit. NRLW should be treated as a separate entity to the NRL with separate revenue streams and sponsorship and everything otherwise we will end up with idiots demanding the same wages and half the money for sponsorship and tv rights and etc so if itโs kept separate from the beginning that canโt happen
