>Lovely to meet you, I’m Finnie the official mascot for the Glasgow 2026, Commonwealth Games.
>I’m a unicorn (Scotland’s national animal - just saying). Sport’s my absolute favourite thing. I’m here to cheer on every athlete, bring the buzz and maybe add a little magic to The Games while I’m at it.
>So, let me tell you a little bit about me...
>After I was imagined by the young people of Glasgow, something amazing happened, they wrote my story. From where I grew up, to how I got my horn, my stars and everything that makes me, me. It’s full of magic, sport and loads of heart.
>Some call me the hype-master because I love making people smile, cheering from the sidelines and getting the crowd going. I can feel when they’re buzzing and I can tell when they need a boost. If the energy’s dipping, I’m there with a grin, a wave, maybe even a wee dance. If it’s tense, I’ll help lift the nerves. I’m there for the big cheers, the quiet moments and everything in between. Whatever the mood is, I help turn it into something magic. I’ll cheer for every single athlete, in every sport, from every country. If someone’s down, I’m the one with an arm around their shoulder. If things go quiet, I’m the one starting the clap. If it’s getting close to a big moment, I’ve probably already started bouncing.
>I can’t wait to meet you all soon and spread a little magic for Glasgow 2026.
