yeah nah I won’t be getting a PC anytime soon, mostly just play stuff nowadays whilst listening to podcasts. I got really into the college football game last year for a few weeks until I wasn’t getting the rewards for grinding the ultimate team really pissed me off not so much that there was an issue but EA didn’t even respond about it, and I enjoy putting a team together on the freeroll and taking out whatever whales I can get.

If anyone is struggling with RL26 I’ve got some tips against the cpu

It’s not a good game but it does feel good sometimes when you’re defending well or setting up some good tries. I think I’ve figured out how to high shot and how to milk at ptb

On defence.
Play as marker you can tell which way each marker is planning to go and anticipate by switching to the appropriate marker then move laterally to make the tackle, also useful to charge down kicks.
Failing that switching to the inside defender is done by pressing the opposite L1/R1 to the direction of play, found this easier but could be a style.
Try not to be the fullback if there’s a line break.
Use the drop wingers back tactic on the last, sometimes on the 4th if there’s a 40/20 on, and if your fullback made the tackle (after a linebreak).
Make sure to bring the wingers back forward next set (or once the fullback gets back).
Use the right stick drag tackle and big hit, do the tutorial to get used to it.
If you sprint in from too far away it can be a high shot.
Use the hold player down as much as you can get away with in the tackle.
Always charge the kicker and put a hit on him or chargedown, get a lot of ball doing this.
I’ve tried sliding, it’s good on your line but has its own risks, also a style thing.

On attack.
Be wary of throwing forward passes, they’ll just do it if you tell them it’s especially infuriating at kickoff.
Get used to stepping if you get a one on one you pretty much will get through every time.
Use the fend and sprint into them, or step them, when doing forward runs, do the tutorial to get used to it.
Be careful when you pass after a line break it’s often intercepted so try cutouts or just take the tackle and drive if there’s too many defenders around.
Make sure you set up for the last tackle, don’t get your playmaker caught with it on his side (unless you have someone else you can kick with).
Use the pass to playmaker from dummy half, and make sure if you’re going to kick it you’re ready you can start aiming seems like before he gets the ball.
Field goals you need to point the player towards the goals and hold O he aims automatically it’s pretty easy if you have a decent kicker be aware which foot he kicks with and set it up accordingly.

Lastly on change of possession you can option the camera to swing after the tackle, it’s ok, but I’ve found it’s easier to just don’t touch anything until the camera has swung right round. Had a winger literally run straight into touch after taking an intercept with no one infront of him because I’m a retard. So try that option it might be your preference otherwise just be very careful.
The games are short so you have to play it a bit safe mostly and if you can get your linebreaks quick play the balls and kicks in you’ll have an advantage strategically
