The difference compared to Hamilton is that Verstappen is a real racer. It’s easier to forgive him for fucking up if he does something insane/dumb. Even if he does wrong, he often does something people want to see in a way. He’s a bit of a crybaby, not still not as coddled as Hamilton. When Hamilton is unhappy, he bitches and cries. When Verstappen is unhappy, he bitches and seethes, which is funnier.

Hamilton isn’t a terrible driver of course, and idolizing a driver while hating the other obviously never leads to fair results. Verstappen drones are annoying, but they are still second fiddle to the bandwagon Hamilton dickriders that now fortunately dissipate
