I don't know which soccer team I should support.

You must support your most local club or you're a bandwagon and not a true fan.

I live in São Paulo, and idk which of the big four of my state I should support.

What about your neighborhood? Isn’t it dominated by one club? What about friends and family?
There must be something to base your choice on. If random anons tell you which club to support, how can there be an earnest passion?

You should support your local club.

>SP
Well, you have a few choices, the more obvious ones, but a few smaller ones if you'd like, for example Portuguesa or Juventus da Mocca. Anyways... what team does your family support? What about your friends? What colors, crest and shirt do you like most? Which uniform do you see yourself wearing when playing with your friends? Personally, if I lived in SP, I'd go for Santos I guess.

>What about your neighborhood? Isn’t it dominated by one club?

No. I mean, maybe, but no. Everyone supports different clubs.

>Family

My dad supports Palmeiras, but he's not a huge fan of the sport. My brother supports Palmeiras too, and my mom is a a Corinthians supporter.

I always liked São Paulo FC since childhood years, but as a teenager I followed my brother's passion.

And then I stopped following the sport altogether, 'till I became an adult and can now "choose".

Hm, interesting
Then you seem to be unchained, so to say. So you can follow the most important rule: follow your heart, as corny as it may sound. These clubs and what they stand for (including fan identity) are near you - you can decide what suits you the most. It’s not a choice of rationality first and foremost, but of identification and emotion. Eventually, one club must speak to you more than the others. Take your time, though
This is a tricky situation, but in the end, only you can decide which club to support. If your heart isn’t in it, there’s no point in doing it altogether. I hope you find your right solution, friend

They could've made a Leopard since it's a West German club and there's probably a Rheinmetal factory somewhere nearby. Going for any random tank is just lazy.

Not a very good moment for Brazilian football in general. More and more clubs are selling out, playing in soulless stadiums named after companies, filling their shirts with ads (the biggest one being a gambling website ofc), alienating the fanbases and playing bland football. Palmeiras is a teaser of what the future of Brazilian football will look like.
