Judge plays in the most hitter-friendly ballpark in the MLB, while the Mariners play in the most difficult one. Judge has the power to hit balls over the fence consistently, but so does everyone else at Yankee Stadium.
The Mariners do actually have a pretty strong pitching staff (Kirby and Woo for instance). Regardless, on the flipside of the Judge situation, it doesn’t matter too too who you put on the mound as the batter production will likely be low. You can increase your odds of winning in those types of ballparks though by pursuing guys with high OPS.
