They are finished
>>150115652 (OP)I'd want to live in Newcastle. Seems like the only city in England with proper rustic sovl
>>150115685Footballers are vain. I think they should focus on developing local players or give Mou a call, he still has the pull to attract big players
>>150115685it's a veritable hellscape!
>>150115652 (OP)Is Newcastle really worse than Liverpool or Manchester? Tbh all of the UK barring London and some spots in the south look like a shithole but for that kind of money you can just suck it up for the 6 months that the season last
>>150115652 (OP)Newcastle ain't that bad. I liked it better than Amsterdam, for example.
Of course my view is biased because I only went there in the summer
>>150115718Well nobody lives in Liverpool or Manchester, they live in Cheshire which is close to both cities and has all the luxuries they want
>>150115718>SpainDry, barren soil, poor, mostly arab.

Itโs got nothing to do with the city. If it was, neither of the Manchester clubs or Liverpool would ever be able to hire anyone. Nor would anyone ever sign for Aston Villa
Itโs the agents. All the agents/fixers are in London, Cheshire and Essex. They want the player close to them, close to their entourage, close to the sympathetic media and hangers on. It benefits the player, they say, but it actually benefits the agent as linked to them are a whole army of other leeches. Their estate agents and lawyers are based there and want that commission. If the player goes to Newcastle he isnโt going to use:
>doctor/dentist/lawyer/accountant/investor/car salesman/interior designer that is related to or in the same tribe as the agent
Nor is he going to:
>have the legal and media connections of his agent
Then he will realise that
>my agent is jewish and has been taking huge sums of cash from me

Roy Keane sees red again with outburst about Wags and their shopping jaunts

Football manager launches tirade against 'weak' players and women who run the show
Louise Taylor
Wed 15 Aug 2007 10.16 BST
Football managers have long complained about the drinking, womanising and gambling habits of their players but Roy Keane yesterday identified an alarming new vice - shopping. Or to be more specific, the shopping habits of footballers' wives and girlfriends.
>Sunderland's manager, known in his playing days for explosive outbursts aimed at team-mates and opponents, is furious after attempting to sign a series of players this summer who apparently turned him down when their Wags became alarmed by a perceived lack of shopping opportunities in the north-east. Yesterday's comments came after the Tottenham forward Mido turned down Sunderland for, gallingly, neighbours Middlesbrough.
>"If a player doesn't want to come to Sunderland then all well and good," said the former Manchester United captain and Ireland midfielder. "But if he decides he doesn't want to come because his wife wants to go shopping in London, then it's a sad state of affairs. It's not a football move, it's a lifestyle move. It tells me the player is weak and his wife runs his life.
>"The idea of women running the show concerns me and worries me, but the players we're talking about are soft. Priorities have changed in footballers and they are being dictated to by their wives."

>>150116654>>150116687>>150116704Seething this much can only be provoked by living in a shithole holy shit the butthurt
>>150116738This must be some type of corporate shill for clubs. Yeah agents are big baddies and clubs wants whats best for their players and agents only come in the way
>>150115652 (OP)Explain Manchester and Liverpool?
>>150116976They are bigger cities with more to offer. Plus, Cheshire is a nice area, like other anons told before
>>150115801Even Newcastle players can live in Cheshire. There's guys getting shuttle service 100+ miles daily to training and games because they all want to have a gated mansion in spacious, green, white people filled Cheshire. At the end of the day everyone with money becomes they Americans they claim to despise.
>>150116946I used to think >le agent was just a boomer conspiracy but it's actually true. Agents are vampires sucking the life out of football.
>>150118050Players are 70 iq mongs who never got educated they're gonna be ripped off no matter what. But its way easier to get ripped off by a huge club than one single agent you can easily swap
>>150116999With Newcastle's Saudi funding, the players could live in Barcelona and the club could afford paying for a jet to fly them to Newcastle every day if they really wanted to.
But maybe they just don't receive as much funding from their sheik masters as other oil clubs like PSG and Man City, and therefore players salaries also aren't as good as in the top clubs. I don't see any other reason for players avoiding Newcastle. If they are okay with playing in Al-Bonobo how could some northern english town be a problem. It must boil down to the earnings.
>>150118050>>150118227players don't pay their agents, the clubs do. so agents rip off clubs not players

Noocastle are this decades Blackburn but with no chance of a title, it's as simple as that. Liverpool and even Man Yoo are actual football clubs not memes.
